Another sunny day in paradise. We decided to snowshoe up Quandary Peak (the 13th tallest mountain in Colorado) with our skis/snowboards on our backs and do some back-county skiing down. Lesson learned: skis are damn heavy. We made it to the summit exhausted and feeling sick from the altitude but had some fun skiing down.
Oh my land, I hope Naropa takes me. I wish I had some higher peaks to trek up, that's pretty major! Glad you'll have it all figured out by the time I arrive-- IF I arrive!
